Trip to the Airfield!

On Thursday morning, we took a trip out to the airfield to see the Blackhawks! We know a Blackhawk pilot (the same one who took Chris for a ride!! ) and he graciously allowed us to come out and see the "herricopters" (as Jilli says!) The kids loved it!! They got to climb all around inside and see all the buttons and all the cool instruments. It was sooooo hot and we were all dripping sweat after just a few minutes. I can't imagine working out there every day! It's not even that HOT yet!!
Miah imagined himself shooting the bad guys out the gun window. He was really excited about the idea of that. Typical boy! I'm sure his dream job list now will include Blackhawk pilot! Jillian got really excited when they started some up out on the tarmac. She thought they were going to FLY! We had a blast and it was a wonderful field trip! Thanks again friends!!

New Bikes!

Chris and I have been having discussions for a long time about purchasing new bikes or a motorcycle... As you can see from the pictures below... we chose bikes! Yay! They came UPS and Chris had them put together in no time at all! They are amazing!! I love that my husband can put things together himself and save us money. He rocks! These bikes are much better than our old Target finds! We're going to live on Post at our next station and Chris will be able to bike in to work and I can ride up to the PX or Commissary with Jillian in the trailer... I'm so excited! Exercise is so good for me! Well, check out how perty they are!

We love going to the 'Airplane' park. It is wonderful in the evenings with the pine trees all around, shading the whole playground! We always get to see planes come and go on the air strip that is just across the way! It is a whole lot of fun... just one more thing we'll miss!!

First Trip to the Neighborhood Pool!

We took a trip to our Neighborhood pool the other day! It was awesome! The water was nice and cool. Jilli got really cold because there was a slight breeze and she didn't want to be IN the water... just near it or in Chris' arms! I played catch with the kids for a while and then I took her out and sat with her on the deck chairs to warm up and dry off. She loved that. Sitting there eating crackers and watching the kids play... very grown-up! I'm sure we'll be doing this a lot - at least for another month!!

All three fell asleep in the car on our way to GA. Our search for housing begins....

WATER FIGHT!!

It is our tradition on the last day of school to come home and have a water fight!! We rode bikes to get the kids from school and I hurried to beat them all home so I could get the hose ready! Jilli even got in on it! She was running around saying, "Get me Mama!!" It was adorable. Jessica and Jeremiah were soaked and loved every minute! Yay! School's out!!
