We found a local strawberry patch and went out on a Saturday afternoon to pick some delicious strawberries. It was a gorgeous day and we filled 5 buckets with ripe strawberries before we left. We took them home and I made 15 pints of freezer jam and we ate lots of strawberries and strawberry shortcake (my fave!) It's so fun to go out and enjoy the local farm's produce! See what you can find in your area!

I can't wait to get back to the States and pick berries! Our strawberries are $5/pint and the blueberries are $7.
