Birthday Fun!

I celebrated my birthday yesterday! It was a fabulous day! Chris was home all day and he helped the kids with their schoolwork. We stopped early to go to a matinee movie (Percy Jackson and the Olympians!). We were a little disappointed with the movie (the books are SOOOO much better!) but it was fun to go out as a family! When we came out of the theater, it was starting to snow and I truly didn't think it would last long... We went to Walmart for groceries and then headed back home where the kids finished up their schoolwork before starting a Super Mario Bros. Fest! I really am NOT good at that game! Chris cooked for us (Baked Potatoes with all the toppings!) and we just kept running to the windows and screaming "It's still snowing!!" It snowed and snowed and snowed! Enough that the kids got to go out and play in it! They had snowball fights and built a snowman! It was the best Birthday present - ever! I don't know how Chris managed it... but he must know the right people!! He knows how much I LOVE snow! I did have a delicious chocolate cake with billions of candles... I don't think the kids know how to count to 21... After nearly scorching my eyebrows... it was time to open presents! Yay! I love the HUGE picture Chris had made and framed! I also LOVE the new case for my iPhone! (Now maybe it will survive being my phone!- I guess it's an amazing case... Chris' friend has one and actually ran over his phone with his car and it didn't do a thing to the phone!!! Pretty sweet!) Chris did a great job with the gifts this year - and pretty much my whole day was just awesome!! My friend, Jeanne, came over with amazing gifts and a CUTE card... (which you'll have to check out my Crafty blog if you want to see those!- Check the link on the sidebar...) My sister, Beck, sent some awesome decorative gifts too and I just felt completely spoiled! Overall, a FABULOUS day!!! Thanks for the birthday wishes, cards and gifts! I LOVED everything!! I'm ready for another year... :)
