Hello everyone! We have had a great week this week! Jilli loves talking with her daddie on the phone, but she likes doing a video call much better!! We've found Skype (it's just like Msn Messenger, only BETTER!) and we can actually see and hear Chris - it's fabulous! Jeremiah had a wonderful 8th birthday... (Check out the pictures below if you missed it!) Thanks to many of you for your gifts, cards and letters! He loved all the extra attention. He loves his Nintendo DS and has become quite good about doing his chores, in order to get his daily playing time! We had some real loud thunderstorms pass through yesterday and last night and it was so nice to see the rain come pouring down! Because of the drought conditions here, we haven't had a good soaker like that for quite a while! It was awesome. Jessica and Jeremiah were playing in the backyard yesterday afternoon and came running in when the dark clouds appeared and the lightning started. They don't like thunder and lightning; but I just LOVE it! It was great. Jessica finished up the Terra Nova tests this week (standardized tests for 3rd and 4th graders). She said she felt good about them and that she did her best. What more could we ask for?? All three of the kids are battling allergies now that the pollen has returned! Jilli has little red eyes, which I thought were pink eye, but it's just allergies. Miah sneezes all the time and Jess just sounds stuffy. We sure love the spring pollen here! The warmer weather is quite nice though. We are able to walk more which is always good with gas prices going up and up and up!! Jilli loves the playgrounds. She would be quite happy to live at the playground! Chris is doing really well and is getting quite anxious to get back here! He's keeping busy and working hard. We hope these next few weeks or so just FLY by! We don't have any dates yet... but I'll let you know! Thanks for checking up with us! Leave us a comment, so we know you popped by!

The last few weeks are the hardest, so keep busy! I am glad to see that you all are doing well!
I love thunderstorm too. When we lived in South Carolina we would turn out the lights at night and just watched the lightning out the window. It was so cool. That is so fun Chris is coming home soon. Erick comes home in 6 weeks.
