Jessica and Jeremiah came in to wake us up around 7:30am. Jillian was still snoring away in her bed! They both went in and tried to gently wake her up.... with excited tales of what might be waiting for her under the tree!! It worked! We said a little family prayer and then waited while Chris went in to turn on the Christmas lights and some Christmas music! We all lined up, ready to go! Chris was the photo man.... as we walked into the Living Room to see our stockings full of fun goodies.
This year, we had snoopy kids and little space to hide anything... so I wrapped EVERYTHING and put it under the tree. Santa filled stockings and brought books and a little toy for each of the kids. It worked out pretty well, since they didn't get so distracted by toys that they didn't want to open the presents! This year they were SO ready to open presents!!! And MAN were they spoiled!!
