Day Two we got up early and loaded up the van for our trip to Savannah!! We made the drive through gorgeous Georgia countryside before making it out to Tybee Island and the Lighthouse beach. We had to get some photos of the mossy trees of Savannah... classic! The lighthouse was so cool! We didn't go up in it - just took some pics and headed for fun times on the beach! We ate PB and J's and tons of snackies as the kids played in the waves and tried to avoid the stinging jelly-fish! The girls tried to build some sand-castles and collected TONS of shells!! It was a bit too windy for me, so I mostly just played anchor for our beach umbrella, but it was great to be with my family!!
